Deals

When we lived in Utah, I LOVED going shopping with my sister Jade and finding the best deals we could. It varied from $0.47 clothes from Old Navy to a case of bananas for $3.00! The better the deal, the better my day was.

The deals are not near as exciting here in Lethbridge, but once in a while we will get a $0.94 clothing sale...again, it is only once-in-a-blue-moon-while.

I have a friend that is living in Florida. In addition to being an amazing photographer, she is now my coupon hero! If you are interested in how to save a couple of bucks (or in her case...almost $800 to date), you can check out her blog here.

Knowledge is power...and in this case, extra money!

How fun, I haven't read your blog in awhile. I love deals too! My best one was buying a suit at value village for $10, and then discovering at home that it came with a $10 bill in the pocket! Apparently someone forgot to check pockets both the donator and the store.
I have to say though as much as I love a good deal I wonder about the exploitation that is happening around the world for us to get things so cheaply? Kids working for nothing, families working for rice to eat for that day. Sometimes I feel bad paying so little for something I know is worth more.
Good deals are thrilling though.

Have you told her about pinchingyourpennies.com? They have alot of online deals, links to printable coupons and a forum for each state that she can check out. I know there are a lot of sites out there, but that is the only one that I go to since it has everything.
